APOPKA, Fla. – A Central Florida community came alongside one another on Thursday to get outcomes for fallen Apopka firefighter Austin Duran.
Employees at the Sweetwater Car Wash on South Orange Blossom Trail held a fundraiser to assist the Duran family members.

“Ten % of all sales are going to the loved ones and the funeral and just supporting them,” Jahvon Johnson stated.
Johnson explained Duran’s sister used to operate at the car wash, which is why the homeowners decided to get success and donate to the family members.
“It’s just a terrific point to assist persons,” Scott Donnarumma stated.
Donnarumma operates his enterprise close to the car wash and recently realized about Duran’s passing.
He was hurt on the position on June 30 when seeking to go a sand trailer stuffed with harmful liquids and gases.
He battled for his existence for months whilst the community fundraised via other events in advance of succumbing to his injuries.
