A man killed when a shooting broke out at a York County car wash last week has been identified by the county coroner’s office.
24-year-old Devin Zeigler, a Springettsbury Township resident, was shot just before 1 p.m. Friday at the York Auto Express Car Spa, 2140 York Crossing Drive, York County coroner Pam Gay said Monday.
Zeigler was taken from the scene to Wellspan York Hospital but did not survive his injuries. The coroner said Ziegler died from multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.
A second person was injured in the shooting, but the coroner’s office did not have information on the survivor’s condition.
Police previously released photos of a suspect vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting.
Police have not released updates on the investigation since Friday but said anyone with information on the shooting should contact police at 717-792-9514.
