MANISTEE — Manistee County Young Life is planning a car wash from noon-4 p.m. on July 3 at the Armory Youth Project located at 555 First St.
Young Life is accepting donations, and all proceeds go toward helping fund summer camp scholarships for local youth.
“The Young Life camps are a fun and exciting experience that no one ever forgets and we want to ensure anyone who wants to go has the opportunity,” said Luke Trombley, Manistee County Young Life area director.
The week-long camp is at Timber Wolf Lake from Aug. 1-5.
Young Life began its outreach in Manistee County in May 2021. It currently hosts Young Life Club for middle school and high schoolers every other Tuesday during the summer from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Armory Youth Project.
“Young Life Club is a safe place to engage with kids, have some fun and learn about how Jesus loves you,” said Trombley.
